I would like to think that I miss caroling already. And I really do. In Em's words, it's the end of 'waste-time-at-Fullerton-happy-happy' or something like that. Correct me if I'm wrong. =) Yesterday ended brilliantly for the Hwa Chong voices, in my opinion, even though it may not have shown outwardly. Ms Lim conducted us, and I honestly felt that all of us enjoyed the songs, especially the fast ones. It was the beginning of an afternoon of madcap fun, if you may call it that?
Haha, first we tried to pet the $1000 koi in the fullerton pond and I must say it was very revolting. They felt like jelly and someone was telling me about how you should let it suck your finger as if it were food. Ade and some of the more daring ones stuck their hands in for a longer period of time as I cringed. ee.
Some more embarrassing things happened to me, as usual. As I walked up the stupid Fullerton stairs I stepped on my own gown and almost (note, almost) tripped and esp. since I was one of the first to step up the bungle was even more obvious... E ching had to start giggling to remind me that I'm the eternal clutz. Bahh. And as I changed my shoes in the edb room some super duper grand senior watched me struggle and just stared intently at my feet and finally offered me a chair to sit down. So pai sehhhh...
Anyhow we did have lotsa fun singing carols as we walked to pizza hut and attracting the most buay song stares. Haha, our attempt to cut the bill if we sung for our lunch failed sorely, though. Heh. Rui recorded one of our carols on the phone and I must say we sounded decent! Haha
Had a nice time... go choir. =)
