the calling

Love Divine
Has seen and counted, every tear it caused to fall. And the storm which Love appointed, was the choicest gift of all. "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple."-Ps27:4

My Utmost for His highest

Saturday, February 21, 2004

Wow. It's been ages since I've posted anything here. I'm starting to think that I'd want to close this down, it becoming so obsolete.

But before I do it, I just want to say that I really enjoyed tonight's dramafeste. The team effort on display was impressive. Kudos to all that made this night possible...

Reminds me of last year's dramafeste. Was in props, and I remember we had a little team made out of Weixiang (head props-man!), Siew Ying, Rui, Tok, Zhipeng, Esther and me. Backdrop and props weren't as elaborate as this year's but I distinctly recall the tons of chairs and long heavy tables that we had to lug all over the place. Gave me muscles, harhar. It's quite queer to be a bystander this year, knowing that one year has past and that next year i'll be in the place of the seniors who just look on while their juniors grow old too. It's just too quick. I want to blur the limits of time, keep re-living every favourable moment of it yet keeping the stings to soothe that to come. I want it all. How stupid and selfish of me.

Well, before I end this very last entry here, I just want to write about how much I miss RG... been thinking about it lately.
I miss....
the delightful canteen food (and rushing down every tuesdays and thursdays to q for oily fried chicken wings)
the cosy corridors, the softer, more domestic feel that the building emanates
the good old popular bookshop
miss fang's claw (well I don't really miss it, but i think it's funny)
the strains of cheerleaders practicing at the foyer and their entertaining routines on sports day
Walking past the eerie school museum during camps....
laughing at potato tan and my erm ex sec 3 english teacher (who will remain nameless because this is a mean thing)
trudging into assemblies at the amphi/parade square all bleary-eyed
the numerous festivals we celebrated
listening to miss pang and her theories
going to the class pigeonholes and 'cling-clanging' others like a kpoh just to see what theyve received (which is prob the same as what we've received)
Seeking solace in the psl room which was cluttered with junk and infested with cockroaches but which we all loved anw.
Yoke chasing us out of the psl room for morning assemblies.
Listening to Yanfen, Joni, Xin and their stories and giggling. harharhar.
making fun of Jan's eyeless eeyore and eeyore bolster.
Laughing along with Shob
Taking walks with Shu'en to destress and talk about dodos.
Screaming, laughing and just being plain crazy with Nessa and Joyce and Mingxian...
Exchanging gossip with Wing? Hehe...
Marvelling at how smart some people are!
Singing songs with huilin who will harmonize them and get them stuck in my head the whole day
hanging out with the guides people.... in the canteen? the footdrills that we hated to love, and love to hate
getting all psyched up for AA.
My patrol, morning glory!!! Yeahyeah and roasting marshmallows over a fire during camp and just getting so tired after all the restrictions put upon us
Having lesbian tendencies, eyeing seniors in the canteen heehee (sorry abt that)
Splashing Christabelle with tap water everytime I come out of the toilet
Our cutie-pie powerpuff girl wall in our room on the 3rd floor.
Dreaming with and writing to Huiling
Talking about 'Ed' with ping, panicking about studies and motivating each other(!?!) Do you remb trying to get to the roof???? haha I dug up the pic of all of us in the store-room. Looking at hers and Sabrinas drawings and drooling. hohoho.
Annoying Pet (which I still do today)

I'm so tired... can't write anymore. shall continue another day.
*muah* miss you all, if any of you are reading this. :)
