And this one's for you-
Hwa-chongians of batch 03.
I miss you!
Warning- relatively long post ahead, but hoping people will read the personalized messages and leave a tag.
Random, HC memories, just because I'm in the mood.
Part 1
CSA-choir
Practices we loved to hate. Our mummy sops, and our daddy basses. Ms Lim, and her lovelyness. Mrs. Goh the wonderwoman, the puller-together. Then we had the piano that we'd carry back and forth and how each section loved the LT (Oh no I forgot the number, horror of horrors!) because it was air-conditioned. Khong Guan biscuits for late-night practices. Our PRC friends with their beautiful voices, and funny antics. Singing Amor. The choir spider-web of twine. Voices in flight. Exco meetings in stuffy classrooms. Engsiang the funny. Peishan the super. Liwei the lychee. (The only one who probably still calls me Jonathan to date) Kelvin and Shawno and Kai (I remember) the trio who will sing "Hygiene" whenever they saw me. Haha. Auditioning juniors. Fretting over makeup before performances- do I look like a clown? hurhur. Ching Ching, and Huixin my laughing partners. Ching and gotcha. Gotcha! Scoldings. Photographs. Guys playing soccer in the LT before practice. Warm-ups. Eyes closed while Ms Lim turns off the lights to give us more feeling. Pep-talks. Encouragements. Having sights on Bremen. Laughing at Ade the duck. Bouncing around with Rui. Teasing and just being stupid, thankful for having each other. Chicken-rice at the backstage of the Esplanade. Ner and her breakdancing at borders. Xiao-en and her caring mummyness. Altos... yiwen, fish with the amiability and pleasantness. The sops with their insane energy. Climbing into the music store room via the window. Ms Lim reminding us to close our legs and sit properly because we're wearing skirts. HAHA. The very auntie choir gown. Fang- fang ting, the super organized Yijie...
This is not that understandable, but I'm trying desparately to piece everything together.
